How do I apply for a loan?

To begin, you have to be a member of New Ross Credit Union Limited.

Once you are a member, you can apply by:

  1. Coming into any of our offices
  2. Calling us on 051-421143
  3. Make an online loan application
  4. Email us on info@nrcu.ie

We can then discuss your needs and proceed with your loan application.

Loans are subject to approval. Terms & Conditions apply.

The two most important things about a loan are: being eligible to borrow the money and; being able to repay it.

At New Ross Credit Union Limited we encourage you to manage your money carefully by structuring loans around your needs and your ability to repay. Establish a good savings record by saving regularly so we can see that you have the ability to repay.

Please note: When applying for your first loan with us you will need to ring and make an appointment to call into speak to one of our loan’s officers. First time loan applications are not taken over the phone or via the web.

Interest Rate

The interest rate you pay will be reasonable and interest will be payable on the reducing balance of the loan

New Ross Credit Union is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. Loans are subject to approval. Terms and conditions apply. If you do not meet the repayments on your loan, your account will go into arrears. This may affect your credit rating which may limit your ability to access credit in the future.
