European Communities (Payment Services) Regulations 2009.

From 1st November 2009, these Regulations will introduce a number of benefits and protections for members including enhanced information provisions and certainty regarding the timeframes for execution of payments.

These Regulations provide for particular information to be given to members of a credit union with respect to their accounts. This is called Regulation 53 Information.

Please speak to an officer of the credit union to clarify how you can access the Regulation 53 Information as is your right under the new Regulations.

This free service assists members to deal with existing debt difficulties and helps them to become financially independent.

Information on Conveyancing service – whereby a member can save up to 50% on legal costs when buying or moving house.

Citizens Advice

Citizens Advice are in our offices every Monday from 10.00am to 1.00pm and from 2.00pm to 5.00pm to meet members of the public who seek their expertise and advice.
