The Credit Union s was launched in New Ross at a public meeting on 30th January 1964. At the first AGM on 1st December 1963, - Fr. Jackie Power OSA. was elected President, Fr. Paddy Doyle CC as Vice President, Paddy Candon was Secretary, Ted McGrath Treasurer, other board directors included; John Connick, Willie Ronan, Billy Ronan, Tom White, John Duggan, Martin Maher, Bill Stafford, D. Fitzpatrick. Supervisors elected were Terry Kelly Larry Ryan, and Paddy Fleming.

In 1972 the Board of Directors of New Ross Credit Union decided to purchase 26 South Street from the Mercy Sisters and in 1981 a small extension was built to the rear. In 1992 the Board decided to purchase the adjoining building from Joe Nowlan, Delare House. This office was opened in 1993. Due to the continued growth of membership and staff of the credit union, a further extension was completed in March 2003.

The present facilities enable the Board of Directors and staff to offer members a private, efficient and friendly service.

Our present Board of Directors consists of fifteen Directors. There are also five Supervisors independent of the Board. There is a staff of sixteen, consisting of a Management Team and thirteen credit union officials.
